National Citizen Service
A three-phase national program currently being delivered to 50,000 young people per year was designed with two other consultants to support social mobility, civic engagement and social cohesion. Danielle designed the learning objectives based on consultations with senior stakeholders and the departments theory of change model, applied these objectives to a predetermined curriculum structure and designed content and resources to fit learning objectives and logistical requirements.
Manchester Metropolitan University
Designed and delivered modules for the Education, Youth and Early years departments in ‘Children, Schools and Families’ ‘Citizenship and Participation’, ‘Children’s Services’, ‘Health, Community and Social Care’, ‘Accessing Higher Education’ and ‘Student as Learner’.
The University of Manchester
Designed and delivered modules for the Youth Studies Department in ‘Policy into Practice’ and ‘Reflective Youth Work Practice’
Various Research Commissions
Designed and delivered research methods training and individual seminars to a range of research teams and students at the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University actively. Informal training and group mentoring was often also provided for researchers involved in the collection and analysis of data.
